Thanks for what seems to be a well-thought-out response to the Crossing & Tolls question. As a Republican, I’ve been struggling to avoid a purely party-line vote this election, as I fear that we could blindly lose a lot of valuable experience presently resident in certain offices of government. Based on what I read here, yours seems to be one of those offices. Seeing your past efforts and accomplishments, your honesty in giving credit to county employees for cutting costs – rather than presenting it as purely your own doing, and your solution/promise concerning the bridge replacement & tolling issues… I intend to support what you’re doing this go round.
